Going Green Award Winner
David Oxborrow was awarded the going green award for his contributions to raising awareness and implementing recycling at the Epping Forest District Council Contract.
David took it upon himself to get recycling sacks and set a system in place. He also takes responsibility for taking the rubbish to the recycling depot on his way home every two weeks, often in his own time.
One of David’s main hurdles was getting the rest of his team to participate in his new recycling measures and to change their attitudes toward recycling.
David used his own initiative and showed true dedication to helping the contract become more environmentally friendly.
