Hull City Council appoints VINCI Park
Kingston Upon Hull City Council has appointed VINCI Park to implement and operate its RTA91 legislation. The appointment is for an initial period of three years, with a possible four year extension.
The contract includes both on-street and off-street enforcement, including coverage of major events such as football, rugby league and concerts at the KC stadium, as well as the week-long Hull Fair.
VINCI Park will take over enforcement responsibility from the police and will employ and train 25 Parking Attendants. Operations will commence in May 2006.
