The Smart-Park Card
The Smart-Park saves drivers time and makes their life easier. This state-of-the-art scheme was introduced at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff by VINCI Park in 2006. Incorporating a number plate recognition system, the Smart-Park is designed to make parking quicker (by reducing queues), easier (by removing the need to handle cash) and to provide more flexibility (by the introduction of variable tariffs according to designated use and the time of day). It also reduces the need for printing tickets, leading to further convenience and cost-savings for operators.

Modular car park decking solutions
VINCI Park has developed a unique low-cost modular construction system to provide for car park expansion with minimal disruption. Our system allows us to create a new parking deck above an existing surface car park, quickly and without significantly affecting the number of spaces available, so further reducing costs and minimising loss of revenue during construction.
A car park that we recently constructed in Liverpool, using this method, has increased capacity from 400 to 760 spaces. The design will also allow the capacity to be further increased to 1500 spaces by adding an additional two levels.

ROMAD personal safety system
Our employees are crucial to the success of our business and their safety is of utmost importance to us. We have introduced a special personal safety alarm to ensure the confidence and safety or parking attendants working in areas of risk. This is essentially a multi-channel emergency contact and record system that uses GPS technology to locate the position of the user. In the event of an emergency the system immediately initiates a number of simultaneous actions.
Licence Plate Recognition
We use licence plate recognition technology to maximise the efficiency of an operation, ensuring high levels of parking compliance and at the same time keeping labour costs to a minimum. In addition, this technology can be used to accelerate entry and exit for season ticket holders, making the experience more convenient.
