VINCI Park wins big at British Parking Awards

VINCI Park UK has emerged as a clear winner at the 2008 British Parking Awards, scooping the Equita Overall Award and a ‘Judges Special’ Award for its Dundee Ninewells Hospital Mobility Scheme, described by the judging panel as: “a high specification, self-financing scheme that is already being cited as best practice.”

VINCI Park also successfully carried away two other top category awards, setting a new precedent for the number of awards won at a single British parking event.

Category Awards for which VINCI won top place were:

Off-Street Parking Team of the Year Award - for devising, successfully implementing and communicating the changes for a new solution for five car parks for the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff

The Training Award - for successfully managing the extension of Leicester City Council’s enforcement regime, based on specific and comprehensive training to deliver improved compliance.

The awards are the result of two years work from VINCI Park UK’s management team to put in place a development plan which has seen the company grow through investment in building strong customer partnerships, the introduction of innovative training methods and the implementation of key operational changes.

Comments Mark Evans, VINCI Park UK Chief Executive:

“We are delighted to win in so many categories and are pleased that the effort put in by all our VINCI Park UK colleagues has been recognised by the industry through these awards.  VINCI Park UK will continue to focus on offering value for money, innovative solutions for all its clients.”
