Long-term investment and management
VINCI Concessions are specialists in the operation of major public facilities, including roads, car parks and airports, and the Stade de France in Paris. The company manages over 4,000 km of motorways, six major bridges and tunnels in Europe, including in the UK the second Severn River crossing, the Dartford Crossing and the Newport bypass. With around 860,000 parking spaces across 13 countries, it is the European leader in car park concession management.
In the UK, VINCI Park UK is responsible for a wide range of parking solutions, while VINCI Investments is involved in the long-term relationships with public bodies and developers in delivering PFI and PPP schemes for infrastructure, property and managed services.
Construction and refurbishment
The VINCI Group is a major global force in building and engineering, with responsibility for many major structures and specialised civil engineering projects. In the UK, construction projects are managed by VINCI PLC and its subsidiary companies, including Crispin & Borst and Norwest Holst (who have built numerous multi-storey car parks in the UK). Among other projects, Norwest Holst was responsible for the construction and maintenance of head office facilities for Diageo PLC and for major infrastructure schemes like the Vauxhall Cross interchange in London. Elsewhere, projects are managed by VINCI Construction Grands Projets (in the UK responsible for the Medway viaduct, the Second Severn Crossing and the Kincardine bridge in Scotland), Freyssinet (who have acquired contracts for the repair and refurbishment of multi-storey car parks throughout much of Europe, and are also renowned for the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff and London’s Excel Exhibition Centre).
Transport infrastructure and operation
A world leader in the construction and maintenance of transport infrastructure, the VINCI Group (in the form of the operating company Eurovia throughout much of Europe) provides the total expertise for designing and building quality urban developments, transport infrastructure, road safety initiatives and environmental protection projects.
In the UK, VINCI’s operating company is The Ringway Group, with expertise in civil engineering, road construction and surfacing, road marking and signage.
Power and communications
VINCI Energies designs, engineers and maintains electrical, mechanical and IT engineering services to provide energy and information technology solutions to support the energy infrastructure of the industrial and service sectors, as well as telecommunications projects for both public and private clients. In the UK, VINCI has developed a network of brands that represent exceptional service and quality, including Actemium, Lee Beesley, Graniou, RDJ, Rosser & Russell and Tywver Switchgear.
