What is Hospital Mobility?
Hospital Mobility is a service providing electric scooters and manual wheelchairs to hospital patients and visitors.
Who can use Hospital Mobility?
Anyone who has walking difficulties, for any reason, regardless of age
How does it work?
To use the scheme, you need to register by coming into the Mobility Office and providing proof of identity and completing a registration. We will also ask you to complete an assessment, where you will be shown how to use the scooters safely. We then issue you with a membership card. The next time you visit, you can either pre-book or show your card to use a scooter or manual wheelchair.
This service is FREE. We advise you to pre-book to avoid disappointment.
Location
The Hospital Mobility Office is located in the main disabled car park (car park seven), directly opposite the main entrance into the hospital building.
Opening Hours
The Mobility Office is open Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm
