The parking issues at railway stations vary enormously, according to the scale and variety of activities at the interchange. Apart from the sheer volume of cars, particular attention has to be given to the demand peaks at certain times, as well as recognising that many users are in a hurry.
Making the Tube safer and more convenient
Since 1994, we have worked with London Underground on 34 station car parks along the Central, Northern and Piccadilly Lines. Over this time we have made considerable investments to improve convenience and safety.
Improved revenue, enhanced services
Since VINCI Park won the contract for Silverlink in 1998 revenue has increased by 55%. We manage 14 busy stations between London Euston and Birmingham. These include Harrow and Wealdstone, Bushey, Watford Junction, Kings Langley, Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamstead, Cheddington, Tring, Leighton Buzzard, Bletchley, Milton Keynes Central, Wolverton and Northampton.
Service, security and operation
VINCI Park’s contract with Chiltern Railways was recently extended until 2009, following its successful management of the 17 railway station car parks along the M40 corridor between West Ruislip and Solihull.
